AOR registration is recognised for reimbursement with a number of private health care providers. This means clients who are members of private health care can often claim for the cost of the treatments when they visit AOR registered complementary therapists.

General Medical Council (GMC) guidance state that Doctors are able to refer patients to practitioners on Accredited Registers.
